It gladdens my heart to welcome staff, students and parents of this great school to another academic session that promises to be highly exciting and action-packed.

This new session was heralded by the staff retreat which lasted two days. It drew together all the staff of Olorunfemi Academy in their hundreds. The theme of the retreat was: Re-energizing for better performance. For two days, we brainstormed on how to take the school to the greatest heights. At the end of the retreat, we were collectively resolved to work strategically and doggedly to actualize the mission, vision, core values and goals of the school. More than ever before, we are avowedly committed to our mission to produce the total child through a holistic education programme that benchmarks best practices while being socially responsible. Indeed, our vision remains solidly to be widely acclaimed locally and internationally as a school that trains and turns out students who have been adequately prepared for tertiary education. And we firmly navigate on our core values of discipline, integrity, equity, excellence, teamwork and service.

Already, this session has started on a note of celebration. The 12th graduation/valedictory service of the school took place on Saturday October 9, 2023. Again, a great number of well-nurtured brilliant boys and girls were ushered into the society obviously on their way to some of the best universities at home and abroad. Some of them had already gained admission to universities in Canada, the US and UK even before they graduated. This is what we truly and proudly represent.

At Olorunfemi Academy, we value the essence of healthy academic and extra-curricular competitions. Throughout the session, students are constantly engaged in intra and inter school competitions in spelling, quiz, debates and creative writing. We balance all these with lots of social activities. A great number of laurels have been won in the past and we are poised to win more.

Our curriculum remains one of the best as we pay equal attention to both local and international contents. As a well known British school, we explore in-depth the British system of education culminating in the checkpoint and IGCSE examinations at various levels. Our students have posted sterling and outstanding results in NECO, WAEC and Cambridge examinations.

Admission is still very much in progress. We are able to bring students who gain admission late up to speed through our carefully structured programmes.
